Olesia Bobruiko
Olesia is a psychologist at OpenUp, where she supports people on their journey to well-being and happiness. Prior to psychology, Olesia pursued Computer Science at Uzhhorod National University in Ukraine and worked as a software engineer for three years.
However, her true passion is psychology and human relationships. She earned a Master’s degree in psychology from the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine. Olesia also specializes in evidence-based therapeutic methods – cognitive-behavioral and emotionally-focused therapies, as well as guided imagery.
She supports her clients in reducing stress and anxiety, fostering self-confidence, and developing nurturing relationships with themselves and others.
She believes that empathy, transparency, and nonjudgmental listening are fundamental pillars for building trustworthy connections with people. During sessions, Olesia will take a deep interest in what you have to say, seek to fully understand you, and offer her expertise when you need it.
To maintain her own mental well-being, Olesia enjoys reading, cycling, spending time in nature, and cherishing moments with her loved ones, including her fluffy friends – dog Jamie and cat Sima.
Olesia is fluent in Ukrainian (her native language), English, and Russian.
